We’ve spent a week documenting how little job postings tell you. Three out of four won’t name the pay. Half won’t say where you’ll work. Forty-three percent won’t name a single benefit.

There’s one exception, and it’s a big one. Across 51,336 live public-sector postings on our board, 95.6% state what the job pays. Everywhere else on the board: 37.1%.

That’s not a small edge. It’s the difference between a market that answers the first question you have and one that mostly doesn’t.
